I’m still working on that list of household projects you made me. To be honest, I’m spreading them out so the blog doesn’t get boring. But, I hope to get through the entire list before 365‘s done. Last Thursday, I put a few items on craigslist that you’ve been wanting me to sell. I hope they do.
Day 172: Household Project #3
March 19, 2012Yesterday, I intended to complete an item from the list of household projects you gave me. But instead, I did something that you wanted me to do more than any item on the list: I took a bunch of discs with our photos on them and downloaded them on to our computer. I also put took the photos off of the memory cards for our cameras and put them on the computer. You were surprisingly happy that I did this and had fun looking at the photos.
Day 143: Household Project #2
February 20, 2012On Saturday, I knocked an item off of the to-do list you made for me: I assembled the crib in the girls’ room so that the baby could start sleeping there instead of in our room. I’m stoked that I’m doing these household projects through 365, because it compels me to complete them rather than put them off indefinitely. And by completing them, I’m making you very happy.
Day 124: Household Projects
January 31, 2012I’m notoriously bad at doing special household projects. Sure, I do my share of cleaning, but some projects I leave undone for months. That’s why I asked you on day 107 to make a list of projects or whatever that you need me to do. You gave me that list on Sunday and yesterday I completed one of its items. I’m hoping to complete every item on the list in the coming weeks, but I’m not making any promises: the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
