I recently decided that I need someone to mentor me long term. I came to this conclusion partly because I want to see more of the same character growth that’s happened in me through 365 Acts of Love.
So on Wednesday (8/15), I asked a man in our church if he’d mentor me. He said he would. I’m very excited. He’s great in character and wisdom and I’m looking forward to his guidance. What’s very cool about this situation is that he has three daughters just like us, only they’re much older than ours. So he’ll have much to teach me about raising daughters and being a great husband and honoring God and living well. Through it, I hope that I become a man as great as he, one who pleases God in his relationship with his family.
